Meruksha LLC is a leading cybersecurity firm, dedicated to developing Cybersecurity solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in fortifying their critical IT infrastructure against evolving threats. We specialize in crafting robust cybersecurity strategies, developing state-of-the-art Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies, and efficiently managing infrastructures with the internally developed software.
Responsibilities:
Meruksha LLC is currently seeking a skilled Data Security Analyst with a strong background in data analytics and academic knowledge of Cybersecurity to join our team and support us in building a new Security Analytics platform that can restrict visibility of security posture by collecting data sets from various Cybersecurity tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement security data lake solution that would collect and store security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Conducting thorough investigations into security emerging incidents and breaches to identify root causes and recommend remediation measures, and maintain inventory of such incidents
- Develop various methodologies for assessing the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and processes through quantitative analysis and performance metrics.
- Designing and implementing security controls to protect data in transit and at rest.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Developing and maintaining data security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively address potential security risks.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Security, or a related field;
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on cybersecurity analysis and remediation.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and technologies. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and/or similar. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to convey technical concepts effectively.
